A MESSAGE FROM VICTORIA

Hello, my name is Victoria Curry and I am the athletic trainer at Southwestern Randolph High School. I started working for Randolph Health Athletic Training in June 2024. This is my first full-time job as an athletic trainer since completing my degree and becoming certified.

I graduated from Asheboro High School in 2018. I obtained my Bachelor of Exercise Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2022. While at Lenoir-Rhyne University, I was a member of the Women’s Track and Field Team as well as the Cheer and Dance Team. My high school and collegiate athletic career allowed me to develop a love for athletic training. Unfortunately, I endured multiple injuries throughout my sports career including, three separate ACL and Meniscus injuries resulting in surgery. I am a strong believer that things always happen for a reason! If it was not for my own personal athletic journey and the people I’ve met along the way, I would not be where I am today as an athletic trainer.

In 2024, I graduated with my Master of Science in Athletic Training degree from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. While completing the MSAT program I had rotations at Eastern Randolph High School, The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, Athletic Training & Conditioning Inc., and Providence Grove High School. I quickly realized that the high school setting was where I was meant to be!

Each athlete holds a special place in my heart and I strive to put my best foot forward for all of them each and every day. I love working baseball and track & field. I also enjoy working with cheer, dance, and gymnastics teams.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and finding fun new adventures to embark on. I married my middle school/high school sweetheart in July 2023. Together we live a life built on the foundation of God.

I am proud to be a part of the SWR Cougar Family and a member of the Randolph Health Athletic training Staff.
